Yawr

Terms & Conditions

Last updated: 23 September 2026

These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Yawr (the "App"), a voice-companionship platform operated by Manoj Singh, Proprietor (Yawr) ("Yawr", "we", "us"), a sole proprietorship registered under the Government of India's Udyam (MSME) Registration. By creating an account or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

1. What Yawr is

Yawr connects users for live voice conversations. Users who choose to make calls ("Speakers") pay per minute, from a prepaid wallet, to talk with users who choose to host calls ("Listeners") who have completed identity and voice verification (KYC). Listeners earn a share of that per-minute rate, withdrawable to their UPI account. Yawr is a companionship and conversation platform — it is not a dating service, an escort service, or a platform for arranging in-person meetings, and using it for those purposes is prohibited (see our Community Guidelines).

3. Account & conduct

4. Payments & wallet

5. Verification & content

Listener KYC involves a short voice recording read against an on-screen phrase, used to verify the phrase match and, where you have declared your gender as female, your gender; it may be approved automatically. Other submissions are reviewed manually by our team. Whether you make or host calls is your own choice. See our Privacy Policy for how that recording is handled and retained. Yawr does not record calls.

6. Reports & moderation

Any user can report another user, a specific call, or a voice story for a policy violation. Reports are reviewed by our team, who consider the report and the content it concerns before deciding; suspension follows that review rather than a report count alone. Child-safety reports are reviewed ahead of all others — see our Child Safety Standards. Decisions on suspensions, KYC rejections, and report outcomes are made at our discretion.

7. Disclaimers

Yawr facilitates conversations between users but does not control what either party says or does. We are not responsible for the conduct of any user, on or off the platform. The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, to the maximum extent permitted by law.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Yawr's total liability to you for any claim arising from your use of the App is limited to the amount you paid us in the three months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

9. Termination

You may stop using the App at any time. We may suspend or terminate your account for violating these Terms, on report of misconduct, or as required by law. Wallet balances at the time of termination are handled per our Refund & Cancellation Policy.

10. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. Material changes will be highlighted in-app where practical.

11. Governing law & disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts at Ghaziabad, India shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from these Terms.
